About EJIA®
Domestic Futures Research Center
A speculative domestic futures research institution exploring adaptive household systems, emotional technologies, and evolving family structures.

Founded on the premise that the home is the primary site of human becoming, we investigate how objects, spaces, and systems can better support the complex emotional and relational dynamics of contemporary family life.
Our work spans speculative design, behavioral research, and prototype development. We create objects that ask questions rather than provide answers, tools that reveal rather than prescribe, and systems that support rather than surveil.
EJIA® operates at the intersection of design research, family studies, and futures thinking. We collaborate with academic institutions, cultural organizations, and technology partners to imagine and prototype alternatives to the domestic status quo.
